The Monkees in Brazil

To:  Brazil resident Monkees fans

This petition objective is asking Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith (therein called "The Monkees") for a tour in Brazil. We would like this to happen in 2006 so we can have the most joyful celebration ever of the band's 40th anniversary.
We've been wishing to attend a live Monkees concert for nearly forty years. The '86 and '96 reunion tours did not include Brazil, but we hope it will come out differently this time.
There are Monkees admirers in every single corner of this large country: thousands of people from all ages which will never be able to travel and see them in the U.S.A.
We hope The Monkees will get moved by this petition and seriously consider coming up to Brazil, realizing the long cherished dream of so many loyal, caring, devoted fans.

O objetivo desta petição é solicitar a Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork e Michael Nesmith (doravante denominados "Os Monkees") que realizem uma turnê no Brasil. Gostaríamos que isso acontecesse em 2006 para que possamos ter a mais maravilhosa comemoração do quadragésimo aniversário da banda.
Temos desejado assistir a um show ao vivo dos Monkees por quase quarenta anos. As turnês de '86 e '96 não incluíram o Brasil, mas esperamos que desta vez seja diferente.
Existem fãs dos Monkees em todo e qualquer canto deste grande país: milhares de pessoas de todas as idades que nunca poderão viajar para vê-los nos Estados Unidos.
Esperamos que os Monkees se sensibilizem com esta petição e considerem seriamente a possibilidade de vir ao Brasil, realizando o sonho antigo e precioso de tantos fãs leais, dedicados e devotados.
