Morro Bay Hunting

To:  California Fish and Game Commission

As a citizen that is concerned for the biological viability of the estuary, the safety of the general recreational public and the economic health of the cities of Morro Bay and Los Osos, I ask the California Department of Fish and Game to ban or significantly limit waterfowl hunting on the Morro Bay National Estuary. This practice has severe impacts on both migrational and indigenous wildlife and poses real public safety threats to local residents and their property, recreational hikers, nature enthusiasts and boaters of all kinds. Please change the regulations accordingly by the onset of hunting season in 2005.
