Around May 2, 2011, Sabre Anderson was involved in an altercation with a neighbor cat. The cat did not survive the incident and the cat's owner has submitted an affidavit to the Austin Travis County Animal Services. The affidavit claims Sabre is a vicious animal and if the court rules him to be vicious, he will have to be removed from the Austin city limits within 10 days of the decision. The court date is currently set for June 23, 2011.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens of the USA who urge the City of Austin Municipal Court to rule against this claim. Sabre Anderson is 10 years old, has lived in the Austin TX city limits his entire life and has NEVER been involved in any other incident of this kind. He is not a vicious animal and should not be deemed vicious due to one incident alone.
