Whovians United: Fans Ask David Tennant to Stay on as the Doctor

To:  Dr Who Fans Worldwide

We the undersigned would like to request that actor David Tennant re-consider his decision to leave the BBC television programme, "Doctor Who."

We know it must have been an excruciatingly difficult decision for the actor, but we Whovians have been so delighted with his brilliant performances, that we are crushed to have the gentleman leave--most especially when the programme will be taking a newer and slightly different direction under the guidance of in-coming producer/writer, Steven Moffat, in 2010.

Hearing the announcment on 23rd October, was, for many Whovians, like waking up on Christmas morning, and finding coal in their stockings.

Therefore, all of the fans below, hereby beseech Mr. Tennant to re-consider his decision, and hold off for just one more year. Of course, we understand that Mr. Tennant has a life of his own, outside of DOCTOR WHO, but we do hope he will be kind to us fans, whom he has truly blessed with his amazing performances on each episode of the programme, and mull it over.
