A call to the global society to protest against cultivation of Opium and Hemp in Afghanistan

It is unfortunate that the global society is witnessing young people struggling with drugs and addiction. The addiction as a deadly ghost never to stop haunting people again, is vastly growing.
As a non-governmental organisation we are trying our utmost to help those who are stuck in this vicious circle of addiction where the centre of it is based in our neighbouring country, Afghanistan.
UNODC has announced that the cultivation of opium reached up to 8200 Tons in 2007 compared to the 6300 Tons in 2006.
The estimated number of drug users in the world is over 200 million people! This shows the rapid growth of drug misuse in the world and the vulnerability of young people and their families to this international nuisance.
Fighting against production of different classes of drugs needs the unity of those who will object to the increasing and uncontrolled production of opium and hemp in Afghanistan.
By signing this petition, you will join us to object to all international networks involved in dealing drugs, urging them to stop production, distribution and transportation of the drugs in Afghanistan.
Lets hope this is an small step towards making a healthy future generation.

فراخوان اعتراض جامعه جهاني عليه کشت خشخاش و شاهدانه در کشور افغانستان

متاسفانه امروز در جهان شاهد گرفتاري جوانان و نوجوانان در چنگال هاي بي رحم اعتياد و مواد مخدر بوده و همچنان بلاي خانمانسوز اعتياد به مانند زلزله اي شديد به سرعت در حال افزايش ويرانگري است ما به عنوان سازماني غيردولتي براي کمک به ساير افراد در بند اعتياد ، تلاش مي کنيم تا بتوانيم يکي را از زير آوار سهمگين نجات دهيم اما گوئي در چرخه اي افتاده و درگير امواج زلزله اي هستيم که به مراتب قدرتمندتر از يک سونامي بوده و مرکز اين زلزله ، کشور همجوار ما يعني افغانستان است .
بنا به اعلام UNODC کشت خشخاش در سال 2007 در افغانستان به بيش از 8200 تن رسيده و اين در حالي است که در سال 2006 ميزان کشت 6300 تن بوده است . تعداد سوءمصرف کنندگان دنيا در سال 2007 به بيش از 000/000/200 نفر تخمين زده مي شود که بيانگر رشد شديد سوءمصرف مواد مخدر در جهان و آسيب پذيري بيشتر خانواده ها از اين معضل جهاني است .
روياروئي با اين موج ويرانگر و مقابله با عرضه انواع مواد مخدر سبک و سنگين نيازمند ياري تمام مردان و زنان آزاده جهان از طريق اعتراض مدني به افزايش بي سابقه و بي رويه کشت خشخاش و شاهدانه در افغانستان مي باشد . بر اين اساس انتظار مي رود تا با همدلي ، پيوستن به ما و بيان اعتراض به سازمان هاي بين المللي و تدارکچيان اين معرکه ، خواسته خود را به توقف و ممنوعيت توليد ، توزيع و ترانزيت انواع مواد مخدر در کشور افغانستان اعلام داشته تا بدين طريق گامي هر چند کوچک براي سالم سازي نسل ها برداشته شود .
